Fanta Conde is a third-year undergraduate student, at Penn State (University Park). She acquires a double major in political science and philosophy, as well as a minor in security risk analysis. She is from Staten Island, NY.
My top three platform issues include:
- Diversity and inclusion
- Campus outreach
- Sexual assault on Penn State’s campus
The community of Penn State emcompasses a beautiful group of diverse individuals, who contribute immensely to all that is great about our university. On a campus filled with undergraduate students from all over the world, there are diverse sets of issues that affect them all. In order to enhance the university experience of undergraduates, and their academic careers, my platform seeks to engage in long term discourse with Penn State students to learn about the issues that impact their lives, and work with them to present innovative ways to tackle these issues, with actionable, and effective outcomes. With an overwhelming, and highly problematic rate of sexual assault on campus, I seek to heavily address and combat this issue, with firm declarations that Penn State students will not stand for this. This includes engaging with diverse groups of students, and prioritizing inclusion from a multitude of directions.
