Make advisors more accessible to students. Students should be able to walk into their advisor’s office at any time and have questions answered. Students deserve the opportunity to provide feedback for their experiences with their advisor.
Expanding HUB study space: Utilize extra rooms and offices for students to be able to quietly study.
Increase charging accessibility in the HUB by add power strips to popular sitting places.
Capital Day expansion: UPUA’s annual Capital Day has been very successful in the past. I want to expand it and reach more Penn State students. This will increase transparency within UPUA and allow more students to be civically engaged with state lawmakers.
Foster relations with the Borough: It is important for students to have a positive relation with the borough.
Downtown Lighting: Continue the efforts of previous Governmental Affairs committees to increase lighting downtown.
Sexual Assault: Increase the “It’s on Us” campaign presence at Penn State to combat sexual assault on campus.
Expand resources for sexual assault victims. Partner with the Center for Women Students and the Pregnancy Resource Center. This will allow for more visibility and a larger group to be reached.
