Candidate Biography
Hello everyone! My name is Carley LaRosa and I am 3rd year running for the Health and Human Development Academic Representative. I served in the UPUA in the 18th Assembly as the DUS Academic Representative and loved every minute of being in that position. This past year has taught me so much about the inner workings of the UPUA and the importance of hearing other people’s voices in order to truly make sustainable, deep rooted change. As a Human Development and Family Studies major, I aim to serve as leader who listens to everyone’s thoughts, makes progressive action to the betterment of the college, and evokes positive change not just in the HHD college, but in the UPUA as a whole.
