I serve as the THON Chair for Penn State Club Dodgeball, where we were able to raise enough money to have two dances this year! This position has improved my ability to work hard and get things done in a timely manner, a skill I consider invaluable for this position.
Since I am a sophomore, I feel that I have a good understanding of the needs of Penn State students. I have heard complaints and what can better be done by friends and other students. I hope to address these and other problems within my abilities as one of your student representatives.
In my candidacy, I stand by six guiding promises:
1. Improving the transparency of UPUA’s systems and procedures.
2. Improving student input in financial decisions.
3. Ensuring that the student body is represented well
4. Advocating for decisions that benefit all students equitably.
5. Improving campus life through increased events and speakers.
Since I have not been a representative, I can bring a unique and new perspective to UPUA, along with a commitment to representing the concerns of the student body with dedication and honesty. I have and will continue to take the time to listen to your voices and understand your needs.
On March 27th, I seek your support to represent the student body at Penn State. Thank you for considering me for this important role!
