An AI activist and environmentalist pursuing a double major in English and Philosophy at Schreyer Honors College, I currently serve as the Director of Outreach for the Department of Environmental Sustainability, within UPUA’s Executive Branch, and the technical director of Fidutam, the world’s largest youth-led public benefit corporation, managing over 1,600 team members across 50 countries. So far, Fidutam has impacted over 1,200 users from the U.S., Nicaragua, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, and Uganda, who have collectively generated $400,000+ in financial earnings.
A storyteller at heart, I’ve spoken at assemblies and university events and helped organize the 2023 and 2024 Sustainability Summits at Penn State University, hosting distinguished researchers, speakers, and one of seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Ambassadors. A strong passion for environmental and AI activism has led me down the pre-law path, and alongside other young leaders, I hope to cultivate a more ethical and sustainable future. I’m determined to contribute something meaningful, whether that’s advocating for students across campus, improving one life, or changing someone’s mind about the importance of technology and the environment we share.
If elected, I also aim to:
– Plan hands-on workshops focused on AI literacy and AI ethics for students, faculty, and administration.
– Develop academic resources revolving around AI integrations and applications to drive the responsible adoption of AI that fosters increased learner engagement.
– Coordinate with student organizations, faculty, and administrators about deploying and regulating responsible AI at PSU.
I will also make it my mission to support the development of the Department of Environmental Sustainability, promote diverse relationships across campus, and listen to what students have to say. I’m a hard worker and a firm believer that nobody should be left behind. It’s my goal to create a Penn State where everyone is represented, the environment is cared for, new technologies are properly implemented, and intellectual curiosity is fostered.
