Savannah Klein

Hi Penn State! My name is Savannah Klein, and I am a first-year student currently undecided on my major. I am running to be the representative for the Division of Undergraduate Studies in the 20th assembly of the University Park Undergraduate Association.

I am an active member of the First-Year Council within UPUA. I served on the committee of Campus Operations to work to elevate Penn State’s environment. Throughout my time within the First-Year Council I have engaged in many General Assemblies, learned the opportunities Penn State has to offer for students, and written legislation to benefit students and our environment. Legislation is an important part when it comes to advocating for students. I have created resolutions to improve Penn State’s campus and environment by adding trash cans to main routes, and to provide transportation to Shaver’s Creek, Penn State’s Environmental Center, so that more students can enjoy all it has to offer. If elected to the 20th assembly, I plan to continue to write legislation that students will benefit from.

I am passionate about helping my community, especially fellow students. Being a representative on the 20th assembly will allow me to continue my work of supporting others. Since coming to Penn State, I have learned what it takes to represent and advocate for students and our community. I would love to hear fellow students’ input, ideas, questions, and concerns so that I can make a positive change. Feel free to reach out to me! My email is sjk6972@psu.edu

Thank you for your consideration and be sure to vote on April 2nd!
