McKenna Schrenk

Candidate Biography
Hi Everyone! My name is McKenna Schrenk, and I am currently a second-year student from State College majoring in Supply Chain Management & Information Systems with minors in International Business and Information Systems Management. I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Smeal College of Business Academic Representative and Student Senator.

Since beginning at Penn State, leaving a lasting impact was my first priority. Through various leadership positions and involvements within Smeal such as the President of the Supply Chain Management Association, an active member of the Nittany Lion Consulting Group, MIS 250 Teaching Assistant, and Smeal Global Representative, I have been able to achieve this goal while gaining a diverse perspective of the college. My hope is to continue to create long-lasting positive change within Smeal while representing student values.

Despite not having previous involvement in UPUA, I believe my extensive experience within Smeal has prepared me for this role. I have been able to connect with students across the college and as your Academic Representative and Student Senator, I would act as a resource and advocate for your needs. Additionally, as Smeal transitions to a new Dean in the upcoming months, I would work to prioritize keeping your voice heard. If you have any questions or would like to talk further, please don’t hesitate to contact me at mcs6357@psu.edu. I look forward to the chance to serve as your voice in student government!
