Candidate Biography
Hey everyone! My name is Aidan Dlugacz and I’m running as at At Large Representative at University Park! I understand, my last name looks kinda funky – but my mother is an immigrant and my father is the son of one so what can I say? Because of them, I pride myself and expanding my horizons to different cultures around the world that appear and function so differently from the American culture I grew up in. Though, enough with the background and let’s get to the real matter at hand! I would love to be an At-Large Representative to represent the Penn Student body so that we may better our university and way of life. As you’re representative, I want to work to guarantee that students have the ability to eat quality and delicious food. I find too often that students find the quality of our food to not be up to par with their expectations. Students pay an abhorrent amount of money for the food we receive. I will strive to connect with dining halls and food providers to get our students food that makers us want to keep coming back to the dining halls! Moreover, an issue of a more serious tone – assaults both sexual and physical at social locations like those at Fraternities and unfortunately even in the halls of our library. Nobody should even experience sexual and or physical abuse by the hands of anyone. As a representative, I will work tirelessly to advocate for those who have been hurt and I will work to get folks the help they so need. Folks this representative election is important since members of the UPUA represent you and your educational wellbeing. I hope that you will consider voting for me as your At-Large Representative and I hope that together we can make a REAL change at Penn State University.
