Currently; I am involved with the Japanese Student Association, Penn State Track and Field, and the POTL Pep Band. I am a super huge ice-hockey enthusiast, with a current playing experience of 15 years, and will be trying out for D2 Club Hockey this upcoming fall. Additionally; I love music, I play the piano and saxophone, and do music production.
As an At-Large representative, some of my interests I would like to promote, revolve around the Justice & Equity committee. These interests include, Mental Health Awareness, Inclusiveness, and Social Awareness. It is very obvious that Penn State is such a diverse environment, and with such a large school, it can be tough to reach certain aspects in really close in with the full college experience. Students at Penn State deserve every shot they can at succeeding, whether it’s in the academic field, or within the social atmosphere at Penn State!
Some of my personal interests in why I’m applying for an At-Large include; getting more involved with our community, so I can make a big and better impact to help this social atmosphere grow. I love Penn State, and want everyone I meet to have a successful, and fulfilling college career!!
